• Develop, implement, and manage policies for Clearing and Forwarding (C&F) operations, ensuring compliance with SRO regulations and accurate HS code classification.
• Align strategic plans with business objectives to optimize clearing and forwarding activities, ensuring compliance with management directives.
• Financial Oversight & Compliance:
• Verify and approve all C&F bill vouchers, ensuring strict adherence to company policies.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of VAT and TAX statements, ensuring full compliance with relevant financial regulations.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and expense control, working closely with logistics, commercial, and corporate departments to maintain financial oversight.
• Regulatory & Government Liaison:
• Maintain active communication with Customs, NBR, and other regulatory bodies to ensure seamless execution of C&F-related tasks.
• Ensure adherence to all statutory regulations governing international and domestic trade operations.
• Shipping & Freight Management:
• Oversee the verification of shipping documentation to ensure full compliance with trade regulations.
• Supervise air freight operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of examination and delivery processes.
• Operational Excellence & Process Optimization:
• Oversee all accounting and assessment activities related to C&F operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and proper documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency of C&F processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operational workflows and mitigate risks, ensuring consistent operational excellence.
