Requirements

Education


  • Masters, Medical Graduate (MBBS) with valid BMDC registration, preferably PGT or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Experience


  • 5 Year

Additional Requirements


  • Licensure: Valid medical license to practice in the region/country.
  • At least 5 years of experience in clinical medicine, with prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role (Resident Medical Officer, CA, etc.).
  • Sound knowledge on the Bangladesh health system; experience in working with Hospital settings and UN Cluster or other stakeholders in both development and emergency setting.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and mentor medical staff.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle medical emergencies.
  • Good in written and spoken English. 
  • Proficiency on computer using, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc.
  • Developing self and others.
  • Problem solving and decision making.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Manage clinical operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of medical, nursing, and midwifery staff.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all clinical issues within the designated unit or arena.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, standards, and regulations.
  • Monitor patient care, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to staff, ensuring continuous professional development.
  • Resolve any clinical issues, discrepancies, or challenges in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure the proper use and management of clinical resources and equipment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and healthcare services.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all clinical activities.
