  • Strong expertise in Transaction Banking, including Trade Finance, Trade Sales, and Cash Management solutions.
  • Proven experience in Corporate Banking transformation, centralization, and business model optimization.
  • Demonstrated success in portfolio management, revenue growth strategies, and business expansion initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of Trade Finance, Structured Trade Solutions, Supply Chain Finance, and Working Capital Management.
  • Strong understanding of Cash Management, Liquidity Solutions, Collections, Payments, and Treasury-related products.
  • Expertise in client relationship management, coverage model optimization, and strategic account development.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-selling initiatives, wallet share expansion, and client profitability enhancement.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Coverage, Product, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Treasury teams.
  • Experience in strategic execution, business scaling, and organizational growth initiatives.
  • Proven leadership capability in managing and developing Cash Management, Trade Sales, Product Management, and Transaction Banking Coverage teams.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and develop senior managers, relationship managers, and business teams to achieve high performance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and executive-level relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a focus on delivering sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Develop and implement the Bank’s Transaction Banking strategy in alignment with overall Corporate and Wholesale Banking objectives.
  • Drive growth in transaction banking revenue, deposits, trade assets, and fee-based income.
  • Establish annual business plans, budgets, KPIs, and growth targets while monitoring performance against objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging industry developments to identify business opportunities.
  • Lead the development, enhancement, and commercialization of Cash Management products and services.
  • Design and implement CASA acquisition and retention strategies to strengthen deposit growth.
  • Collaborate with Treasury teams to deliver effective liquidity and cash management solutions for clients.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with Large Corporates, Multinational Companies (MNCs), Government Organizations, Financial Institutions, Development Organizations, and Business Conglomerates.
  • Lead transaction banking sales initiatives, business pipeline management, and mandate acquisition activities.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and executive-level engagements to strengthen business relationships.
  • Drive the development and implementation of next-generation transaction banking products and digital solutions.
  • Lead digitization initiatives, including Host-to-Host Connectivity, API Banking, Corporate Internet Banking, ERP Integration, Digital Trade Platforms, Electronic Collections, and Real-Time Payment Solutions.
  • Coordinate with Technology, Operations, and Digital Banking teams to ensure successful solution deployment and service delivery.
  • Enhance customer experience through automation, process optimization, and Straight-Through Processing (STP).
  • Identify and execute Trade Sales opportunities to increase client wallet share through solution-based engagement.
  • Advise clients on working capital optimization, trade structuring, liquidity management, and cash flow solutions.
  • Structure and deliver integrated Trade and Cash Management solutions, including:
    • Structured Trade Finance
    • Supply Chain Finance
    • Receivables and Payments Solutions
    • Liquidity Management and Cash Concentration Services
  • Support the implementation of a centralized Transaction Banking model in close coordination with Corporate Banking teams.
  • Strengthen client engagement through specialized product solutions and consultative sales approaches.
  • Improve operational efficiency, scalability, and service excellence within Transaction Banking functions.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives related to digital transformation, business expansion, and product innovation.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management in support of the Bank’s strategic objectives.
