Cluster Manager / Senior Principal Officer (SPO) to First Assistant Vice President (FAVP), SME Banking
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the SME business portfolio within the assigned cluster to achieve targets and ensure sustainable growth.
Identify new market opportunities, industry segments, and verticals for SME credit, deposit, and trade-related products.
Lead, guide, and mentor Business Acquisition Officers (BAOs) to achieve strong business performance while maintaining high portfolio quality.
Conduct strategic client visits and meetings with key SME clients and prospects; review and approve credit proposals in line with bank policies.
Monitor portfolio performance, address deteriorating accounts promptly, and maintain asset quality standards.
Promote deposit growth and cross-sell liability, trade, and non-funded products to strengthen client relationships.
Ensure strict compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, AML/KYC standards, and audit guidelines.
Prepare regular business reviews and market insights for senior management, providing data-driven recommendations.
