Responsibilities & Context

Program Development:
  • Design and implement community engagement initiatives aimed at promoting socio-emotional learning and building resilience within communities.
 
Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with community leaders, educators, and mental health professionals to assess needs and customize programs that address specific socio-emotional challenges.
 
Training and Capacity Building:
  • Lead workshops and training sessions for staff and community members on socio-emotional behavior strategies, engagement techniques, and resilience-building practices.
 
Research and Evaluation:
  • Collect and analyze program data to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives. Provide insights and recommendations to improve program outcomes.
 
Resource Development:
  • Develop educational materials and resources that support community engagement, socio-emotional learning, and mental well-being.
 
Advocacy:
  • Advocate for policies and practices that enhance socio-emotional learning at both community and organizational levels.
 
Community Outreach:
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations to boost program awareness and participation.
 
Integrity:
  • Uphold Cordaid’s integrity standards by adhering to its Integrity Framework and Standard Operating Procedures. Foster a safe and trusting environment through open dialogue and adherence to integrity policies.
 
Other Duties:
  • Support the project’s security and risk management system by identifying potential risks, communicating issues, and recommending mitigation procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support program implementation, including tasks related to other project outputs.
