  • A minimum of 1 year of practical experience in a recognized organization is required.
  • The candidate should possess a training certificate in computer literacy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Bangla are essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications is required.
  • High accuracy and a good typing speed (minimum 30-40 WPM) in both Bengali and English are mandatory.
  • Strong documentation skills are a key requirement for the position.
  • Retired clerks from the Bangladesh Army will be given preference.

Responsibilities & Context

BAIUST invites applications for the position of Computer Operator to support the Departments of CSE, EEE, CE, English, DBA, and Law.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Drafting and preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents for the respective department.
  • Organizing and managing departmental files and records efficiently.
  • Screening incoming correspondence and processing outgoing communications as necessary.
  • Preparing materials and resources for departmental meetings and special events.
  • Handling confidential information with discretion, tact, and adherence to university policies.
  • Performing any additional tasks assigned by the university authority.
