  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing costing and inventory control systems
  • Software Skills: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis; experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage
  • Analytical Skills: Strong capability in reporting, analysis, and stock control
  • Personal Attributes: Honest, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Experience:
    • 6–10 years in costing and inventory management
    • At least 2–3 years in a managerial position
    • Prior experience in footwear, garments, or manufacturing industries preferred

Responsibilities & Context

Golden Sky Footwear Limited is seeking an experienced Costing & Inventory Manager to oversee production costing, raw material usage, and inventory management for our export-oriented footwear manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and monitor product costing for footwear production.
  • Calculate material consumption and perform production cost analysis.
  • Maintain accurate raw material and finished goods inventory records.
  • Track daily stock movements, material issues, and warehouse operations.
  • Ensure proper inventory reconciliation between physical stock and system records.
  • Collaborate with production, commercial, and finance teams to ensure accurate costing.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to prevent loss or misuse.
  • Prepare monthly stock reports, costing analyses, and variance reports.
  • Conduct periodic stock audits and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Optimize inventory planning to reduce material wastage and prevent overstocking.
