Responsibilities & Context

Evaluate retail loan and credit card applications against the Consumer Loan PPG and applicable credit criteria, ensuring turnaround time (TAT) compliance with stakeholder SLAs.

Assess applicants’ financial standing by reviewing bank statements, audited and management accounts, and cash flow statements.

Conduct visits to clients’ workplaces, businesses, or residences to verify income details and assess primary security.

Support portfolio monitoring and analysis, including early alert reports, portfolio-at-risk (PAR), customer segmentation, loan concentration, and ageing analysis to guide lending decisions.

Supervise the Retail Credit MIS team and ensure timely preparation and distribution of regular activity reports.

Carry out additional duties assigned by supervisors.
