Prepare and bake a wide range of daily bakery items including breads, croissants, muffins, cakes, cookies, and desserts.
Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation across all Grassroots Café outlets.
Support bulk production for events, catering services, and corporate orders when required.
Develop and introduce new bakery items in line with seasonal menus and brand identity.
Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
Monitor inventory levels, manage raw materials efficiently, and coordinate with the procurement team.
Control food wastage and ensure proper portioning to achieve cost efficiency targets.
Supervise junior bakery staff and provide hands-on training and guidance.
Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and safe usage of bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers.
Coordinate with outlet teams to ensure timely delivery and replenishment of bakery products.
Maintain accurate daily production reports and inventory records.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all team members by protecting them from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation in line with safeguarding policies.
Act as a key focal point for safeguarding support, guidance, and expertise to promote a safe working environment.
Promote, practice, and enforce safeguarding policies and standards among all team members in daily operations.
Ensure strict adherence to safeguarding procedures and encourage reporting of any concerns or incidents without hesitation.
Respond appropriately to any safeguarding-related concerns in accordance with organizational reporting procedures.
