Education


  • Bachelor/Honors, Master’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Environmental Science, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • 6 Year to 10 Year

Additional Requirements


  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a compliance role within the garment manufacturing sector, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Bangladesh’s labor regulations, safety and environmental standards, and industry compliance protocols.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities; adept at analysis and problem-solving; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Attributes: Highly detail-oriented, ethical, proactive, and resilient under pressure.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Compliance or Audit Management.
  • Proven experience managing audits from global clients.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Supervise and ensure adherence to workforce regulations, health and safety guidelines, environmental policies, and client-specific standards.
  • Develop, implement, and enhance compliance policies, protocols, and best practices to align with regulatory and industry benchmarks.
  • Perform regular internal assessments to verify compliance with local regulations, global standards, and client codes of conduct.
  • Coordinate with department leads to promote awareness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the main liaison during external reviews, representing the organization with clients, certifying bodies, and government entities.
  • Conduct employee training sessions on compliance topics, including labor standards, environmental protocols, workplace safety, and ethical conduct.
  • Compile reports and maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities, audit results, and corrective action plans.
  • Investigate compliance breaches and propose actionable remedies.
  • Remain informed on regulatory updates and industry standards, making adjustments to compliance protocols as necessary.
