Additional Requirements

• Knitting & Dyeing Operations:
• Strong expertise in knitting and dyeing processes to meet production and quality requirements.
• Plan knitting schedules based on Fabric TNA and coordinate with factory planning and production teams to ensure timely delivery (TNA & OTD).
• Fabric Swatch & Yarn Analysis:
• Analyze fabric swatches and select appropriate yarns, knitting machines, GG settings, and YD Stripe Repeats.
• Determine GSM and YD programs for various fabrications to ensure consistency and quality.
• Technical Support & Development:
• Provide fabric-related technical support to departments such as Product Development, Merchandising, and others.
• Study and verify buyer-specific fabric requirements and oversee the fabric development process.
• Buyer Collaboration:
• Analyze buyer requirements for fabric development, ensuring achievable and sustainable quality standards.
• Collaborate with buyers to align fabric aesthetics and functional properties.
• Quality Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
• Monitor bulk fabric quality, identifying and resolving issues within the fabric supply chain or operational processes.
• Apply innovative techniques to meet buyer-specific aesthetic requirements.
• Process Supervision & Coordination:
• Manage relationships with fabric teams to ensure fabric development adheres to established procedures and buyer specifications.
• Work closely with various departments to integrate new techniques and processes.
• Problem Solving & Documentation:
• Diagnose and resolve problems in knitting, dyeing, and fabric finishing, including dia and shrinkage issues.
• Maintain organized records of knitting and dyeing activities, including swatches, sorted by job and season.
• Additional Responsibilities:
• Handle any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by management to support departmental goals.
