Responsibilities & Context

The Deputy Manager - Sales plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding the company’s market presence. You will oversee a dynamic sales team, manage key accounts, and ensure that the company’s products and services gain increased visibility in a highly competitive environment. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of the market, customer preferences, and sales channels. You will act as a liaison between senior management and the sales team, ensuring effective execution of strategies in the field.

  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Supervise and motivate a team of sales executives to enhance productivity and performance.
  • Provide coaching, training, and feedback to sales team members to improve their skills and capabilities.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to track performance and strategize solutions to challenges.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by building relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Expand the company's market share by targeting new customer segments and fostering strong relationships with potential clients.
  • Attend industry events to represent the company, enhance brand visibility, and build networks.
  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure visibility and maintain relationships with key customers and distributors.
  • Ensure optimal stock availability and provide timely service support to customers.
  • Address customer issues to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports detailing performance metrics and action plans.
  • Conduct sales performance analysis to identify gaps and initiate corrective actions.
  • Forecast sales volumes, revenue, and profit margins to align with business goals.
  • Manage relationships with distributors to ensure smooth execution of orders and payments.
  • Collaborate closely with distributors to enhance their market performance, offering relevant support and guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards in all sales processes.
