• Provide technical and management support for the organizational development of aggregation and collection centers, ensuring effective project implementation.
• Lead the market linkage team to develop and implement market systems that support sustainable rural economic growth.
• Establish and manage aggregation centers, ensuring alignment with project goals and effective operations.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to improve value chains and promote inclusive market systems development, focusing on initiatives like WFP-supported Fresh Food Corners (FFC).
• Market Linkage and Value Chain Development
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of aggregation centers and market linkages to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and project KPIs.
• Prepare detailed project implementation plans, including monthly budget breakdowns and tracking systems.
• Conduct regular market visits, monitor prices, and develop price charts to guide market interventions. Identify key market actors, assess markets, and create value chain maps.
• Develop and implement market linkage plans connecting pre-identified buyers with producers or suppliers.
• Identify and address challenges within the marketing system, implementing proactive measures to resolve issues.
• Team Management and Collaboration
• Facilitate team meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely achievement of project milestones and deliverables.
• Perform risk assessments, implement risk management strategies, and track project performance to ensure successful completion of both short- and long-term goals.
• Safeguarding Responsibilities
• Ensure the safety of program participants, external stakeholders, and team members from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation (including sexual exploitation and abuse) to achieve the program's safeguarding objectives.
• Act as a key support, guidance, and expertise source on safeguarding, establishing a safe working environment.
• Promote and endorse safeguarding policies among team members, ensuring their implementation in every course of action.
• Follow safeguarding reporting procedures in case of any reportable incidents, and encourage others to do the same.
