• Production Planning and Scheduling
• Develop and execute production plans to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
• Schedule knitting operations to ensure the timely delivery of finished goods.
• Monitor and adjust production schedules to address changes in demand or unforeseen circumstances.
• Maintain and follow up on Management Information Systems (MIS) for effective tracking and reporting.
• Quality Control
• Implement and uphold rigorous quality control standards to ensure consistent fabric quality, weight, and gauge.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and tests to identify and resolve defects or deviations from specifications.
• Analyze quality control data to identify trends and implement corrective measures for continuous improvement.
• Process Optimization
• Continuously assess and optimize knitting processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements, such as adopting new knitting techniques, upgrading equipment, or substituting yarn materials.
• Implement new technologies and best practices to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Team Management
• Recruit, hire, and train knitting technicians and operators to build a skilled workforce.
• Provide leadership and support to the knitting team, fostering a positive work environment and maximizing productivity.
• Evaluate employee performance regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance skills and expertise.
• Environmental and Safety Compliance
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Establish and maintain safety protocols to protect employees and minimize workplace accidents.
