• The candidate will be responsible for the scheduled, preventive, and breakdown maintenance of continuous process machinery, including knitting, dyeing, dyeing finishing, washing, and printing machines.
• Energy and Non-Manufacturing Maintenance Services: This includes overseeing large-scale machinery such as generators, electrical central control rooms and power distribution systems, boilers, water cooling ventilation systems, and air compressors.
• The candidate should have experience troubleshooting pneumatic controls, relay controls, proximity and magnetic switches, and temperature controls.
• Ensure prompt breakdown maintenance to minimize production loss and maximize output as required by management.
• Plan and design cable layouts and load calculations for new floors or buildings, including power distribution for all industrial machinery and wiring diagram designs.
• Lead field engineers and technicians, ensuring quality installation, adherence to timelines, and management satisfaction.
• Provide support to field engineers and installation teams during site start-up and commissioning, both remotely from the office and on-site as needed by management.
• Generate reports on operational, maintenance, and utility activities, notifying Construction Management of significant issues, and completing necessary documentation to confirm satisfactory completion.
• Strictly supervise maintenance personnel, including engineers, operators, foremen, welders, duct technicians, plumbers, fitters, electricians, mechanics, and helpers.
• Maintain close communication with utility, dyeing, knitting, and store departments to address machinery issues promptly.
• Responsible for upholding company policies regarding the replacement of machinery parts and equipment.
• Must have strong knowledge of BNBC (Bangladesh National Building Code), ACCORD, NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), and electrical fire and safety regulations.
• Should be well-versed in SLD (Single Line Diagram), LPS (Lightning Protection System), thermal scanning, earth resistance, and insulation testing.
