Education


  • PHD/Doctorate, Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAB and/or a Ph.D. holder specialized in Accounting/Finance or related subjects.

  • Minimum 10 years of teaching experience in reputed foreign or local universities with substantial exposure in Education and Research.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in renowned institutions.
  • Expertise in university-level research activities.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong IT knowledge and ability to work in deadline-driven organizations.
  • Experience working with international organizations is an added qualification.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken communication in both English and Bengali is essential.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Prepare, review, and update study materials and syllabus for each level of ICAB examinations.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Studies and related committees to develop innovative educational methods.
  • Maintain close liaison with institutions like Central Bank, SEC, DSE/CSE, RJSC, NBR, and others, ensuring alignment with their guidelines.
  • Compare and analyze ICAB's syllabus with national and international institutes for potential membership agreements.
  • Gather feedback from teachers and students regarding the syllabus and curriculum and incorporate improvements.
  • Implement the updated syllabus and ensure the timely availability of suggested answers for ICAB exams.
  • Recommend effective learning and training activities for ICAB members and staff.
  • Organize seminars, workshops, and training for ICAB members, panel teachers, and others.
  • Assist in procuring professional books and study materials for ICAB.
  • Organize online or physical classes as needed.
  • Communicate with renowned public and private universities and colleges in Bangladesh for exemption, research, and student recruitment purposes.
  • Ensure the effective functioning of the ICAB academic campus.
  • Perform other duties as required by the divisional head and higher authority.
