Cost Control: Monitor and optimize cost per minute while reducing fabric and consumable wastage.
Efficiency Measurement: Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including DHU (Defects per Hundred Units), plant-level EBITDA, and On-Time Delivery (OTD) rates.
Resource Management: Control budgets related to manpower, overtime, and machine maintenance.
Production Planning: Supervise the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure sewing lines operate efficiently with minimal downtime.
Capacity Analysis: Evaluate factory capacity against order volume to decide on subcontracting or the need for additional shifts.
Lead Time Control: Oversee the complete cut-to-pack process, ensuring woven garments—often involving complex washing and finishing—flow smoothly without delays.
Technical Problem Solving: Provide solutions for complex woven garment constructions, including specialized pocketing, collar assembly, and seam sealing.
Machinery & Technology: Assess and recommend advanced sewing technologies, such as automated pocket welters and template sewing systems, to improve accuracy and reduce manual effort.
Quality Systems: Implement and manage robust Quality Management Systems, ensuring AQL standards are met at the end of sewing lines.
Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to international social compliance standards (WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX) and buyer-specific ethical requirements.
Wash Process Coordination: Collaborate closely with the washing and laundry teams to maintain consistent shrinkage control and color shade continuity for woven products.
