Additional Requirements
- Age should be between 32 to 45 years.
- Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in Garment Dyeing and Woven Washing operations, preferably in a large export-oriented factory.
- Strong hands-on expertise in bulk production, shade development, lab dip approval, color matching, and wet processing operations.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale production teams, including supervisors, operators, and technical staff.
- Extensive experience handling buyer-driven export orders while ensuring compliance with quality standards, production schedules, and on-time shipment requirements.
- Strong knowledge of garment dyeing processes, washing techniques, chemical applications, and production optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot dyeing and washing defects, improve Right First Time (RFT) performance, and minimize reprocessing.
- Sound understanding of production planning, capacity utilization, cost control, inventory management, and process improvement.
- Familiarity with buyer compliance requirements, SOPs, AQL standards, environmental regulations, and workplace safety practices.
- Strong leadership, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication, team management, and interpersonal skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities & Context
We are looking for an experienced Dyeing & Washing Production Manager to lead and oversee all garment dyeing and washing operations, ensuring high-quality production, optimum efficiency, cost control, and on-time delivery while meeting buyer requirements and international quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage all garment dyeing and washing production activities to ensure timely delivery and maximum operational efficiency.
- Supervise the complete wet processing operation, including dyeing, garment washing, over-dyeing, enzyme wash, finishing, and other value-added wash processes for woven garments.
- Ensure accurate shade development, lab dip approval, bulk shade consistency, and color matching in accordance with buyer requirements.
- Monitor and control critical process parameters, including temperature, processing time, pH, liquor ratio, chemical dosing, and machine loading to achieve consistent quality.
- Drive Right First Time (RFT) performance by minimizing shade variation, reprocessing, defects, and production losses.
- Identify and resolve dyeing and washing issues such as shade variation, patchiness, staining, uneven dyeing, fading, and other quality defects.
- Optimize dyeing recipes and production processes to reduce chemical consumption, water usage, energy costs, and processing time while improving productivity.
- Monitor production efficiency, machine utilization, capacity, and manpower productivity to maximize operational performance.
- Ensure strict compliance with buyer specifications, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), AQL standards, environmental regulations, and quality management systems.
- Coordinate closely with Planning, Merchandising, Production, Quality Assurance, Laboratory, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth workflow and production continuity.
- Monitor and control dye, chemical, and auxiliary inventory to minimize wastage and maintain cost-effective operations.
- Ensure finished garments meet all required color fastness, shade consistency, physical performance, and quality standards before shipment.
- Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors, operators, laboratory personnel, and technical staff to enhance productivity and technical competency.
- Promote workplace safety by ensuring proper chemical handling, PPE usage, environmental compliance, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Support buyer audits, compliance inspections, process improvement initiatives, and continuous operational excellence programs.
- Prepare and review production reports, efficiency analyses, quality performance, and cost control reports for management.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by management to support business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
