Responsibilities & Context

  • Create and implement the organization’s e-commerce strategy to drive growth and meet profitability objectives.

  • Develop and oversee the e-commerce budget, ensuring resource efficiency to meet sales and profit targets.

  • Analyze industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to identify areas for improvement and innovation.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align e-commerce strategies with broader business goals.

  • Manage the company’s e-commerce website, optimizing for performance, user experience, and conversion rates.

  • Supervise e-commerce platform maintenance, including regular content updates, product listings, and feature enhancements.

  • Partner with IT and third-party vendors to ensure the platform’s security, scalability, and seamless integration with other systems.

  • Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, working closely with the Media and PR teams to drive traffic and sales.

  • Ensure a smooth and customer-friendly experience throughout the online shopping journey, from browsing to checkout and post-purchase.

  • Coordinate with the fulfillment team to manage omni-channel order dispatch and reverse logistics efficiently.

  • Establish and execute Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal and external stakeholders in the e-commerce channel.

  • Prepare regular performance reports for senior management, offering insights and improvement recommendations.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, IT, Sales, and Customer Service, to ensure alignment and effective execution of e-commerce initiatives.
