Responsibilities & Context

  • Evaluate patients through physical examinations and medical history to assess the severity of injuries or illnesses.
  • Provide immediate medical treatment, including administering medications, performing CPR, and managing trauma or life-threatening conditions.
  • Ensure the safe and effective transport of patients to medical facilities while monitoring their condition en route.
  • Coordination & Communication:
  • Collaborate with emergency services, hospital staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient assessments, treatments, and responses to care.
  • Training & Equipment Management:
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on emergency medical protocols and techniques.
  • Provide training sessions for other staff or community members as needed.
  • Ensure all medical equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and ready for use.
  • Community & Public Health Initiatives:
  • Engage in public health programs, including educating the community on emergency preparedness and response.
  • Professional Conduct & Compliance:
  • Remain calm and effective in high-stress situations, addressing both medical and emotional needs of patients and their families.
  • Adhere to legal and ethical standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality and following established protocols.
  • Administrative & Miscellaneous Duties:
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by the competent authority.
