Work Experience:
A minimum of 2–3 years of practical experience in IT support, endpoint device management, or similar technical roles
Prior experience in the banking or financial services sector will be considered an added advantage
Strong background in hardware diagnostics, asset tracking, and delivering technical support to end users
Preferred Certifications and Skills:
Industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional, ITIL Foundation, CCNA, or similar
Familiarity with core banking software and financial applications

Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC is looking for a motivated and technically skilled ICT Endpoint Support Officer to join its Information and Communication Technology (ICT) division. This role is vital in supporting the smooth functioning of all endpoint devices and ensuring top-tier user support across the bank’s branch network and head office. The selected candidate will be instrumental in upholding the bank’s technology standards while enabling robust digital banking operations.
Set up, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
Install operating systems, update drivers, and upgrade firmware on new endpoint devices.
Monitor and manage endpoint hardware inventory, ensuring accurate asset tracking and proper disposal per organizational policies.
Identify and fix hardware issues, including memory, storage, and motherboard malfunctions.
Carry out routine hardware maintenance to enhance device performance and reduce system failures.
Resolve operating system-related issues on Windows platforms, including login failures, performance degradation, and system errors.
Provide end-user support for Microsoft Office, Outlook, core banking applications, and other internal business software.
Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 technical support services for both hardware and software concerns.
Liaise with vendors for warranty processing and external hardware repairs.
Offer on-site and remote IT support to branch employees and other users as required.
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to specialized ICT teams in a timely manner.
Ensure all endpoint devices conform to internal security policies and regulatory guidelines.
Manage security configurations such as disk encryption, BIOS protection, and user access controls.
Record all support activities meticulously, maintaining detailed documentation of system configurations and interventions.
