Responsibilities & Context

  • Ensure the proper maintenance and smooth functioning of all production-related and supporting resources, including dyeing machines, buildings, generators, boilers, compressors, air conditioning systems, electric power supply, lighting, and all other mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Plan, implement, and maintain systems for accurately monitoring machine downtime; analyze data to determine current levels and develop strategies to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
  • Strictly adhere to compliance standards and safety protocols as defined by the management and relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Develop and propose a comprehensive spare parts policy for efficient stock management and uninterrupted operations.
  • Prepare and verify detailed inventories of all equipment, attachments, folders, spare parts, and tools, and implement systems to manage and maintain these records effectively.
  • Ensure that all dyeing machines and related equipment are regularly serviced and maintained in perfect working condition to be production-ready at all times.
  • Implement procedures to ensure machine availability during style changes, minimizing delays and maintaining workflow continuity through proper monitoring.
  • Prepare capital expenditure plans and collaborate with the management team to control and monitor quarterly budgets.
  • Plan total machinery requirements—including financial assessments—for any current or future expansion projects.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies relevant to the industry; evaluate their suitability for the organization and recommend procurement when aligned with company goals. Identify and assign key personnel for training on new systems or equipment.
  • Identify the training and development needs of maintenance staff to enhance technical competency and efficiency.
  • Evaluate the performance of maintenance staff regularly, providing feedback and support for continuous improvement.
  • Take full responsibility for implementing and monitoring measures to prevent workplace accidents and occupational diseases, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
