  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering.

Additional Requirements


2D Design Expertise:
  • Proficiency in creating and modifying 2D designs using AutoCAD.
3D Design Knowledge (Preferred):
  • Experience with 3D design using Creo software is an advantage and will be given priority.
Basic Computer Skills:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities & Context

Product Design and Development:

  • Conceptualize and create innovative product designs that meet customer requirements and quality standards.
Customer Visits and Engagement:
  • Visit customer locations to gather insights, feedback, and ensure alignment with their needs.
Sales and Marketing Collaboration:
  • Maintain effective communication with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure smooth coordination.
  • Attend meetings, provide updates, and submit detailed reports.
Design and Production Monitoring:
  • Oversee the production process to ensure designs are accurately executed.
  • Address and resolve any production issues promptly.
Team Training and Supervision:
  • Train team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Monitor and review daily tasks to maintain efficiency and quality.
Quality and Error Analysis:
  • Use analytical skills to identify opportunities for improving product quality and minimizing errors.
Lead Time Optimization:
  • Identify areas for reducing lead times and work towards achieving the target timelines.
Cross-Functional Communication:
  • Collaborate with the production team to provide support and ensure seamless operations.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager.
