  • Bachelor/Honors, in accounting.
  • Masters, in accounting.

Additional Requirements


  • Tertiary education in finance / CA or CMA intermediate/ master’s in accounting.
  • Experience working in large companies, ideally within multinational manufacturing organizations.
  • Familiarity with operating in an ERP environment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of product costing.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to persuade executives in a multicultural setting.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Ensure inventory accounting for purchases, consumption, and stock valuation is conducted in compliance with International Accounting Standards (IAS) as adopted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants and in line with ESAB Group guidelines.
  • Accurately create provisions for stock and stores according to company policy, identifying slow-moving and obsolete stock, and recommending specific provisions where necessary.
  • Reconcile stock and stores in the ERP system with physical counts.
  • Provide timely and accurate management reports on material management and production costs.
  • Perform cost analysis for foreign purchases (CIF) and circulate detailed reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure the timely capitalization of fixed assets.
  • Take on additional tasks assigned by senior management, offering expertise and support as required.
  • Collaborate closely with business unit heads, country managers, and external organizations, including industry and regulatory bodies.
  • Work with the ESAB Group and other internal functions to ensure alignment.
