A leading garments manufacturer and exporter is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and versatile professional for the position.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with business objectives, legal requirements, and cost control.
Continuously assess and manage manpower planning and workforce optimization.
Prepare and execute recruitment action plans and manage the end-to-end hiring process.
Oversee attendance, leave management, and payroll administration.
Ensure full compliance with labor laws, company policies, disciplinary actions, termination, dismissal, and compensation procedures.
Handle employee motivation, counseling, grievances, labor relations, and conflict management.
Implement modern HR management methods to improve organizational efficiency and performance.
Ensure buyer audit readiness, including access/right to inspection during audits.
Address audit findings promptly and implement corrective action plans (CAP) with regular follow-up.
Take immediate corrective measures to resolve non-compliance issues and improve factory conditions.
Act as a bridge between management and employees to address demands, grievances, and workplace issues.
Provide day-to-day administrative support related to safety, security, health, and housekeeping.
Manage disciplinary procedures, resignation, dismissal, discharge, and termination records effectively.
Ensure timely and proper handling of resignation and termination cases as per policy.
Develop and implement performance appraisal systems and training programs.
Ensure 100% compliance with buyer Codes of Conduct, Bangladesh Labor Law 2006 (amended 2015), and Labor Rules.
Ensure continuous readiness for social compliance, technical/quality, security (CTPAT), and environmental audits.
Monitor and manage compliance certifications such as WRAP, BSCI, ISO, SEDEX, OEKOTEX, RSC, and Nirapon.
Ensure health and safety compliance as per internal checklists and standards.
Ensure non-discrimination in employment practices, wages, benefits, and welfare facilities.
Ensure prohibition of forced labor and zero tolerance for child or child-looking workers.
Maintain coordination with Fire & Civil Defense, Labor Office, Labor Court, police authorities, labor federations, and local stakeholders.
Lead, supervise, motivate, appraise, and train HR and compliance staff.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
