Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee and monitor day-to-day operations of the Industrial Engineering (IE) functions in the assigned area.
  • Implement Lean tools (such as 5S, Kaizen, JH, Gemba, RCA, VSM, Autonomous Maintenance, etc.) to drive process optimization and improvements.
  • Monitor machines, materials, and workspace to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyze low production rates, collect data on Non-Productive Time (NPT), and take corrective actions to reduce NPT.
  • Monitor shift-wise dyeing production and evaluate output on an hourly basis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure proper machine feeding and smooth execution of related tasks.
  • Prepare and submit monthly production reports, efficiency reports, and machine breakdown reports.
  • Collaborate with the production team to facilitate continuous improvements in manufacturing methods, systems, and controls.
