Responsibilities & Context

  • Oversee and manage the dyeing process for knit fabrics, ensuring adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Monitor daily dyeing operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistency in color, texture, and overall fabric appearance.
  • Ensure timely execution of dyeing orders in alignment with the production schedule.
  • Conduct quality inspections on dyed fabrics to verify color fastness, shade accuracy, and overall conformity to buyer requirements.
  • Identify defects or inconsistencies in the dyeing process and implement effective troubleshooting measures to prevent quality issues in final products.
  • Collaborate with color matching and fabric testing teams to ensure all colors, finishes, and technical specifications are accurately achieved.
  • Analyze dyeing production data and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency, reduce production costs, and minimize waste.
  • Execute production plans based on order requirements, floor capacity, workload, and time schedules, meeting both daily and monthly targets.
  • Assist in developing dyeing recipes and formulations for production, and secure lab dip approvals in accordance with buyer standards regarding color, shade, and other quality parameters.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports covering production output, maintenance activities, workforce performance, quality metrics, safety compliance, raw material consumption, stock levels, and production costs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment across the dyeing floor.
  • Ensure all dyeing activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
