  • B.Sc Engineering (Civil) degree from BUET, RUET, KUET, DUET, CUET, MIST only.

Additional Requirements


  • Professional Experience: Minimum 10 years of practical experience in Civil Engineering within the Land Development, Real Estate, and Housing sectors.
  • Specialized Expertise: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in road development, drainage, sewerage, and other infrastructure projects under the supervision of senior-level professionals such as General Manager, Deputy General Manager, Assistant Chief Engineer, or Senior Engineer in a reputable housing company.
  • Technical Knowledge:
  • Extensive understanding of land development, infrastructure development, road construction, plot demarcation, and sand filling processes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, map operations, plotting, and ArcGIS.
  • Construction Proficiency: Sound knowledge of civil construction, preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ).
  • Professional Affiliations: Must be a registered member of the Institution of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB) and enlisted with RAJUK.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Project Supervision: Oversee and manage the company's ongoing projects, ensuring all work progresses according to plan.
  • Quality Assurance: Arrange material testing through recognized universities or institutions to ensure compliance with required quality standards.
  • Project Execution: Lead all activities related to land projects and civil structure maintenance, ensuring timely completion of ancillary maintenance tasks.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide regular updates to higher management on construction-related issues and implement solutions as per their guidance.
  • Contractor Management: Evaluate contractor performance, recommend suitable contractors for construction works, and monitor their performance for future engagements.
  • Material Procurement: Collaborate with the Purchase Department to source high-quality construction materials and ensure timely delivery to meet project timelines.
  • Team Development: Provide on-the-job training to site engineers and staff, managing their performance and enhancing their skills.
  • Coordination Meetings: Conduct regular meetings with project construction teams to improve coordination, cooperation, and overall efficiency.
  • Government Liaison: Maintain strong connections with government and non-government officials, particularly in engineering departments, to address project-related activities or issues.
  • Financial Supervision: Oversee the preparation and timely payment of contractor bills and departmental expenses related to office and residential buildings.
  • Accommodation Planning: Assist management in planning staff accommodations for office or residential purposes.
