Responsibilities & Context

  • Ensure thorough understanding and communication of section working procedures (SOPs, Flowcharts, Policies) to the entire team, keeping them updated regularly.
  • Coordinate, plan, and monitor the flow of raw materials between the warehouse, production, QA, and merchandising teams before the production process begins.
  • Develop and manage production plans that optimize capacity utilization, aiming for 100% efficiency while minimizing costs.
  • Prepare product-specific plans aligned with central shipment schedules, floor line plans, and manpower requirements.
  • Closely monitor pre-production activities such as size-set cutting, PP meetings, pilot runs, and priority-based task progress.
  • Oversee the receipt of files, fabrics, accessories, and samples, and ensure timely execution of pre-production activities, including cutting, print-embroidery, sewing, washing, finishing, and shipment.
  • Work closely with the fabrics team to ensure timely fabric availability, coordinate with the merchandising team for accessories, and collaborate with cutting and print-embroidery teams for input supplies, ensuring on-time progress.
  • Address issues related to raw material shortages and production delays, ensuring timely completion and shipment, especially for short or rejected print and embroidery items.
  • Stay informed about raw material delays and proactively communicate any production and shipment impacts.
  • Monitor and address plan vs. actual discrepancies, implementing corrective actions to minimize gaps.
  • Prepare detailed reports on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis to facilitate shipment target achievement and support future planning.
  • Monitor central planning, load allocation, and supply chain issues, addressing any tactical challenges ahead of time.
  • Collaborate effectively with staff, different departments, senior management, and decision-makers to share information and drive action.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of equipment upon receipt and address any issues promptly.
  • Ensure timely and proactive participation from all team members in scheduled training programs.
  • Work collectively with the team to achieve departmental goals and targets related to capacity utilization, supply chain optimization, and on-time delivery, both monthly and annually.
