• The Production Planning & Monitoring Specialist is responsible for managing manpower allocation, ensuring production targets are met, analyzing bottlenecks, and overseeing the smooth execution of production processes. This role also involves tracking production data, following up on key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Manpower Management: Set and manage table-wise manpower counts, ensuring proper allocation to meet production requirements.
• Target Setting & Communication: Inform line supervisors and executives about daily targets, and ensure targets are set for key areas such as Rib & Heat Seal processes.
• Bottleneck Identification & Resolution: Analyze production documents to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the production process.
• Capacity & Production Study: Conduct capacity and production studies for Table, Heat Seal, and Rib processes, and follow up on production targets accordingly.
• Lost Time Analysis: Perform lost time analysis and maintain accurate data entry for production tracking.
• Overtime Management: Monitor and follow up on extra overtime hours worked and organize meetings to optimize work schedules.
• ERP Barcode Tracking: Track and follow up on production progress using the ERP barcode tracking system to ensure accurate reporting.
• Incentive Tracking & Billing: Follow up on production incentives, ensuring correct calculations and processing of incentive bills.
• Cutting, WIP, and Embroidery Follow-up: Ensure proper follow-up of cutting, work-in-progress (WIP), printing, and embroidery stages to prevent delays.
• Style Analysis & SMV Bulletin: Conduct regular style analysis and create operation bulletins, including Standard Minute Values (SMV) for different processes.
• KPI Reporting & Follow-up: Monitor and report on all board KPIs, providing daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Track KPI performance, weekly reason reports, style closing reports, and variations (DIA vs GSM), and follow up on justification and corrective actions.
