  • A PGD/Diploma degree from reputed institution on footwear manufacturing will add value.
  • Candidates having footwear manufacturing industry experience as IE role will get preference.
  • Sound knowledge on manufacturing processes, planning and support functions.

  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Open-minded personality with positive attitude.
  • Ability to maintain good working relations with all fellow Team Members & cross-functional team.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Provide Costing SMV (Standard Minute Value) after conducting shoe line meetings to determine the product's overhead cost for selected articles.
  • Conduct time studies and prepare detailed process-wise SMV and layout plans, including required manpower and target production per hour at optimal efficiency.
  • Balance production lines to ensure equitable work distribution among workers, resolve bottlenecks to enable smooth production, and set line-specific targets based on capacity.
  • Generate daily line-wise efficiency reports for performance evaluation and loss-time reports to identify and address the root causes of production inefficiencies.
  • Develop monthly capacity plans, including the number of lines, manpower, and overtime (OT) requirements, aligned with frozen production quantities. Ensure completion of frozen production within the prescribed timeline and calculated manpower/OT.
  • Calculate production incentive bonuses and submit them on time to ensure smooth payment disbursement.
  • Lead various improvement projects to enhance process and system efficiency.
  • Organize weekly/monthly review meetings to discuss productivity, efficiency, loss time, and other relevant issues, fostering awareness and driving continuous improvement on the production floor.
