Responsibilities & Context

  • Verify that all Standard Minute Values (SMV) in production bulletins align accurately with General Sewing Data (GSD).
  • Participate in risk assessments and pre-production (PP) meetings to identify potential issues in new styles.
  • Enhance SMV through process improvements or innovations and update accordingly in GSD.
  • Establish chassis definitions and create a Quick Changeover (QCO) plan.
  • Develop paper layouts and set up production lines to optimize resources and efficiency.
  • Monitor the sewing area to ensure balanced workloads and optimal human resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with the pre-production team to address risks identified during the sample phase.
  • Oversee bulk sewing methods throughout production.
  • Balance production lines effectively to achieve planned efficiency targets.
  • Conduct skill assessments for sewing operators and ironers per evaluation standards and update the skills matrix.
  • Implement and sustain the Efficient Operation System (EOS).
  • Reduce SMV through the introduction of innovative methods and new techniques.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to address any corrective actions necessary for process improvements.
  • Promptly report any discrepancies to the Assistant Manager of Industrial Engineering (IE) for resolution.
  • Lead, inspire, train, and evaluate team members to achieve business objectives.
  • Track and assess daily routines and task actions of Executives and Supervisors.
  • Ensure adherence to Epyllion Group policies, buyer requirements, and relevant regulations.
  • Manage functional reporting, goal alignment, and performance reviews with monthly updates.
  • Foster a KAIZEN culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct daily GEMBA walks and perform process audits.
  • Facilitate weekly problem-solving and continuous improvement sessions with team members.
