Education

• Bachelor/Honors, Bachelor of Science (BSc), in IPE or Textile Engineering from any reputed University

Additional Requirements

• Take the line plan and follow up with central planning (CP) to ensure its effectiveness.
• Prepare the Operation Bulletin (OB), calculate SAM (Standard Allowed Minute), set up line and machine layouts, and arrange workstation layouts.
• Allocate the required manpower for each operation line.
• Monitor daily manpower balancing, target setting, and achievement.
• Recommend new ideas and methods to increase productivity and improve quality.
• Ensure NPT (Non-Production Time) reduction, record lost time (NPT), calculate efficiency, and conduct problem studies to enhance productivity.
• Control excessive overtime (OT) in sewing by balancing the line layout and ensuring target efficiency.
• Build up capacity based on the learning curve, using various Industrial Engineering (IE) tools and production studies for specific operations.
• Ensure production hours are aligned with business planning department targets.
• Develop operators' skill inventories before upcoming style demands and build the production team as required.
• Analyze quality-related data and identify areas for improvement.
• Apply Lean techniques (7S, Kanban, Kaizen, SMED) on the sewing floor to reduce waste.
• Contribute to GSD (General Sewing Data) to enrich the database and establish successful practices on the floor.
• Assist floor staff with effective line layout according to the Operation Bulletin and maintain QCO (Quality Checkpoints) when feeding in new styles.
• Control Line WIP (Work in Progress).
• Conduct skill assessments for new operators and periodic skill evaluations.
• Maintain the required Management Information System (MIS).
