Responsibilities & Context

  • Manage and process all commercial papers related to import and export.
  • Maintain accurate records of buyers’ original documents submitted to the bank, both manually and digitally for long-term preservation.
  • Track and reconcile original documents with ex-factory shipments to prevent any missing submissions to the bank.
  • Coordination & Liaison:
  • Communicate and coordinate with DEPZ, Customs, Shipping Agents, C&F, Banks, and other relevant authorities.
  • Ensure smooth processing of back-to-back L/Cs for all buyers, maintaining records to prevent exceeding the approved limit.
  • Obtain Bill No., Proceeds, and Bank-to-Bank Courier No. from the bank on a scheduled basis.
  • Reporting & Compliance:
  • Prepare necessary statements and reports as per management requirements.
  • Maintain correspondence with overseas offices, external parties, and customers as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and banking requirements for import/export activities.
  • Work Efficiency & Support:
  • Follow structured job procedures to work efficiently and maintain transparency with management.
  • Maintain a supportive work environment to prevent operational disruptions for other teams.
