Responsibilities & Context

  • The primary responsibility of the Executive (Sack QC) is to conduct thorough analysis of HDPE bags before and after loading the finished product to maintain optimal cement quality. This role also involves assisting the packing department in developing standard operating procedures to reduce bag bursting and cement leakage. Additionally, the Executive (Sack QC) will participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving related to quality issues.
Common Operations:
  • Ensure the quality of all types of PP bags in accordance with ACL's established standards.
  • Maintain regular communication with the PP bag user department to ensure the specified quality of PP bags.
  • Conduct weekly coordination meetings with lab employees to address quality-related problems and other concerns.
  • Ensure all bags are tested upon arrival at the ACL factory and before being used in the packing plant.
  • Handle customer complaints related to bag quality from any location across the country.
  • Ensure the sewing section meets quality standards, including bag length, valve length, width, sewing drop, and stitching drop.
  • Conduct busting tests on empty cement bags to ensure durability.
  • Verify the accurate weight of cement bags.
  • Collaborate with the packing, delivery, and relevant departments to maintain bag quality.
  • Investigate the root causes of quality issues and implement preventive measures.
  • Prepare monthly reports on bag busting and averages.
  • Perform duties with a strong focus on safety, promoting a safe working environment for all colleagues.
