Responsibilities & Context
Patient and Visitor Interaction:
- Warmly welcome patients and visitors, ensuring a professional and friendly atmosphere.
- Address patient inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email promptly and courteously.
Reception Area Management:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Ensure all informational materials are updated and available to visitors.
Appointment Management:
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments for diagnostic tests and consultations.
- Coordinate effectively with lab technicians and doctors to manage appointment schedules.
- Provide timely reminders to patients for upcoming appointments.
Patient Information and Guidance:
- Clearly explain available services, pricing, and test preparation requirements.
- Provide updates on waiting times and address inquiries regarding test results or follow-ups.
Operational Coordination:
- Communicate seamlessly with doctors, lab technicians, and administrative staff to ensure smooth workflows.
- Notify appropriate staff promptly during emergency situations to ensure quick response.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in digital and/or physical formats.
Complaint Resolution:
- Address patient concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
- Escalate unresolved issues to supervisors for further resolution.
Feedback Collection:
- Gather and document patient feedback to identify areas for improvement in service delivery.
Patient-Centric Focus:
- Promote comfort, trust, and a positive experience for every patient, ensuring a patient-first approach.
