Responsibilities & Context

Patient Assistance and Registration

  • Greet patients warmly and assist with the registration process.
  • Collect and verify patient details, including personal information, medical history, and contact data.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient information into the hospital or diagnostic center's system.
  • Provide clear guidance to patients regarding available services and testing procedures.

Billing and Payment Management

  • Prepare and generate accurate bills for diagnostic tests and other services provided.
  • Ensure proper calculation of charges in alignment with the services availed.
  • Handle payments efficiently, including cash, card, and online transactions, and issue appropriate receipts.
  • Perform daily transaction reconciliation and transfer collections to the finance department as per policy.

Other Responsibilities

  • Maintain professionalism in patient interaction to ensure a positive experience.
  • Address patient inquiries regarding billing or procedures in a courteous and helpful manner.
  • Follow internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
