Triangle Services Ltd. is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive Network Engineer to manage backbone and core network operations, troubleshoot critical network issues, and ensure high network availability and operational efficiency.

The selected candidate will serve as a primary technical expert for ISP network infrastructure, handling complex routing environments, vendor coordination, network optimization, and 24/7 operational support. The role requires strong expertise in BGP routing, peering, IPv4/IPv6 operations, GPON/FTTH technologies, and multi-vendor network environments including Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, and MikroTik platforms.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Core Network Operations & Troubleshooting

• Lead major incident troubleshooting and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for backbone and core network outages
• Act as the final escalation point during critical network incidents and service disruptions
• Diagnose and resolve:
  • BGP instability
  • Peering failures
  • Upstream connectivity issues
  • Core routing problems

🔹 ISP Network Architecture & Optimization

• Design, implement, and optimize:
  • ISP core network architecture
  • Edge routing infrastructure
  • Routing policies
  • Traffic engineering solutions
• Monitor and optimize network performance to minimize:
  • Latency
  • Packet loss
  • Downtime

🔹 Routing, Security & Connectivity Management

• Manage upstream providers, IX connectivity, and vendor coordination to ensure SLA compliance and stable performance
• Execute network upgrades, capacity planning, and change management activities
• Deploy and manage:
  • IPv4/IPv6 infrastructure
  • IRR
  • RPKI for routing security and compliance

🔹 GPON/FTTH Infrastructure Management

• Deploy and maintain:
  • GPON/EPON OLT systems
  • FTTH broadband infrastructure
  • Multi-vendor ISP platforms
• Ensure reliable broadband service delivery and infrastructure scalability

🔹 Monitoring & Network Management Tools

• Deploy and maintain network monitoring tools including:
  • LibreNMS
  • Cacti
  • Zabbix
  • SmokePing
• Monitor network health, traffic utilization, and operational alerts proactively

🔹 Leadership & Team Coordination

• Lead, mentor, and coordinate NOC and branch engineers for smooth 24/7 operational support
• Support incident management, technical escalation handling, and operational planning
• Ensure proper communication and coordination across technical teams

• Maintain detailed documentation of:
