Additional Requirements


  • 1-2 years of experience in SEO and SEM, preferably in a digital marketing or e-commerce environment.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and link-building techniques.
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, or other SEM platforms.
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Ads, Bing Ads, and related analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of technical SEO aspects such as website structure, HTML, CSS, and site speed optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
 
Preferred Skills:
 
  • Experience with paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
  • Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or similar platforms.
  • Google Ads certification or similar qualifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools or CRM platforms.

Responsibilities & Context

As an SEO & SEM Executive, you will be responsible for implementing both SEO and SEM strategies to improve the website's visibility and search engine rankings. You will manage and execute both organic search optimizations (SEO) and paid search campaigns (PPC) to drive qualified traffic, increase conversions, and enhance overall site performance. Your role will require a combination of technical SEO expertise, content optimization, and the ability to manage PPC campaigns effectively across platforms such as Google Ads.


On-Page SEO Optimization:
  • Conduct on-page SEO tasks such as optimizing meta tags (title, description, header tags), images, URL structures, and internal linking.
  • Optimize content for targeted keywords to improve organic visibility and rankings.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and implement fixes to enhance website performance, speed, and mobile friendliness.
  • Collaborate with the content team to ensure all content is optimized for SEO, including keyword integration, readability, and engagement.
 
 
Off-Page SEO & Link Building:
  • Plan and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings.
  • Identify relevant, high-quality backlink opportunities and establish relationships with external websites for link acquisition.
  • Monitor the backlink profile to ensure a healthy link-building strategy and address any negative SEO risks.
 
 
Keyword Research & Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify target keywords and optimize website content accordingly.
  • Analyze keyword trends, search intent, and competitor performance to adjust SEO strategies.
  • Regularly monitor keyword rankings and optimize content and tactics to maintain and improve rankings.
 
 
SEM (Search Engine Marketing) Campaign Management:
  • Create, manage, and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other search platforms.
  • Conduct keyword research and create effective ad copy to attract high-quality leads and customers.
  • Monitor SEM campaigns for performance, managing bids, targeting, and budgets to maximize ROI.
  • Regularly optimize paid search campaigns through A/B testing, performance analysis, and continuous refinement of keywords, ad copy, and landing pages.
  • Track and analyze SEM KPIs (e.g., impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions, CPA) to ensure campaigns are delivering results aligned with business goals.
 
 
SEO & SEM Analytics & Reporting:
  • Regularly monitor, track, and report on the performance of both SEO and SEM campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Ads.
  • Prepare performance reports for both SEO and SEM, providing actionable insights on website traffic, rankings, paid search performance, and conversion rates.
  • Leverage analytics data to continuously improve organic and paid search strategies, adjusting tactics based on data-driven insights.
 
 
Content Optimization & Collaboration:
  • Work with the content team to ensure that content is optimized for both SEO and SEM, including blogs, landing pages, product descriptions, and other website content.
  • Suggest and implement changes to improve content relevance and alignment with searcher intent across both organic and paid search efforts.
  • Collaborate on the development of high-performing landing pages to optimize conversion rates from both organic and paid traffic.
 
 
Stay Updated with SEO and SEM Trends:
  • Stay informed about the latest SEO and SEM trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
  • Integrate new tools, techniques, and strategies to keep the company’s digital presence ahead of competitors and in line with industry changes.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt new strategies for improving the effectiveness of both SEO and SEM efforts.
