Additional Requirements

Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) from any reputed university.
M.Pharm in Pharmacology is highly preferred.
Diploma in Commerce with specialization in Supply Chain Management.
Diploma in Medical Technology with a focus on Pharmacology.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management.
Additional professional degrees in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
Proficient in both written and verbal communication in English
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem solving & decision-making skills
Possession of creative & innovation ideas and self-driven attitude

Responsibilities & Context

Source raw materials for new products and identify alternative suppliers for herbal and nutraceutical products.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers.
Evaluate supplier performance in collaboration with relevant departments and identify potential new suppliers.
Arrange samples from new suppliers for analysis and product development.
Ensure vendor qualification by collecting necessary documentation for approval and registration.
Coordinate with the PPIC team for material requisitions, production planning, and product supply.
Negotiate prices, analyze feasibility reports, and prepare comparative statements for cost analysis.
Select suppliers based on quality, cost, and adherence to standards (WHO, FDA, EU-GMP).
Collaborate with customs, banking, and regulatory teams for import and product registration processes.
Gather necessary documents for import permits and prepare brochures/dossiers according to guidelines.
Communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth product supply and timely deliveries.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Ensure availability of analytical consumables based on requisitions from all Beacon Group units.
Plan and procure materials both locally and internationally from various suppliers.
Collect and compare price quotations to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
Negotiate with suppliers, prepare comparative statements, and issue purchase orders after approval.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Develop new and alternative sources for analytical testing needs.
Ensure timely supplier payments while managing costs efficiently.
Perform additional procurement tasks as assigned by management.
