Regularly communicate with merchandisers and other relevant teams to plan the sourcing of raw materials, fabrics, trims, and accessories according to the production schedule.
Implement cost-saving initiatives by identifying new sources and establishing long-term contracts to ensure competitive pricing and a reliable supply chain.
Ensure the timely and adequate supply of all necessary materials, components, and equipment to minimize non-productive time and avoid production delays.
Maintain consistent communication between suppliers and the Commercial Department to coordinate key details, such as ETDs, ETAs, and original shipping documents (for imports), ensuring timely customs clearance and delivery.
Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, focusing on price, quality, and delivery to ensure optimal vendor relations.
Select forwarders based on negotiated Incoterms to optimize shipping processes.
Oversee and control company expenditures, ensuring financial efficiency in sourcing and procurement.
Take primary responsibility for managing Woven Buyers and related activities.
