  • Subcontract Factory Follow-up: Regularly follow up with external fabric subcontract factories to ensure timely and quality production.
  • Fabric and Yarn Expertise: Strong knowledge of knit fabrics, yarns, and dyeing processes is essential.
  • Quality Control Collaboration: Work closely with the quality control team to implement and maintain effective quality assurance protocols.
  • Fabric Planning Management: Proven ability to manage monthly buyer-specific fabric planning, covering knitting, dyeing, and finished fabric delivery.
  • Technical Fabric Knowledge: In-depth technical knowledge of all types of knitted fabrics.
  • Quality & Quantity Assurance: Ensure the right quality and quantity of fabrics are delivered to the garment division.
  • Delivery Tracking & Reporting: Ability to track fabric delivery lead times, maintain accurate production reports, and ensure alignment with shipment schedules.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a similar role will be valued.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Fabric Quality Forecasting & Coordination: Responsible for forecasting fabric quality for assigned buyers and coordinating related activities.
  • Fabric Delivery Schedule: Prepare and manage the fabric delivery schedule to the garment production team.
  • Collaboration with Production & Planning: Work closely with the production and planning teams to ensure optimal productivity.
  • Effective Communication: Ensure smooth communication with the supply chain team to maintain consistent and efficient production flow.
  • Production Performance Follow-up: Monitor production performance continuously and drive efforts to meet scheduled shipment deadlines.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with knitting, dyeing, and garment divisions to ensure seamless process sequencing and avoid disruptions.
  • Weekly Planning: Develop and manage the weekly fabric knitting, dyeing, and delivery plan.
