• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough fabric inspections to uphold the highest quality standards, identifying defects and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Problem Solving: Proactively address fabric quality issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that ensure timely resolutions.
• Aesthetic Enhancement: Collaborate closely with designers to improve the appearance, feel, and longevity of fabrics, driving both creative and functional innovations.
• Color Development: Develop and refine color formulations for dyeing and printing processes, ensuring vibrant and consistent results that align with the design vision.
• Sample Development: Lead the development and rigorous testing of new fabric samples, providing valuable feedback to guide design and production strategies.
• Supplier Research: Research and evaluate fabric suppliers to ensure materials are cost-effective and environmentally sustainable, fostering strong partnerships.
• Effective Communication: Facilitate clear and open communication with team members, designers, suppliers, and fashion buyers to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
• Market Liaison: Collaborate with fashion buyers to align fabric selections with current market trends and sustainability initiatives, optimizing product offerings.
