  • Masters, M. Com in Accounting /Management from a reputed university.

Experience

Additional Requirements


  • Proven skills in financial management and handling donor/partner funds, including VAT, tax, and relevant compliance.
  • Expertise in budget preparation, monitoring, and reviewing project expenses.
  • Strong administrative and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement procedures, payment processes, and maintaining books of accounts.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communication.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding policies, including child protection, gender equality, and anti-sexual harassment.
  • Candidates with a valid motorbike driving license will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a similar position.
  • Responsible for financial administration and accounting, including managing bank transactions and preparing periodic financial reports for partner NGOs.
  • Assist with audits, ensure proper filing of documents, and handle payroll accounting and payments.
  • Provide coaching support to Unit Accountants and conduct regular visits to village groups and Unit offices.
  • Maintain accounts using accounting software; training in this area is required.
  • Priority will be given to candidates who are born and raised in coastal regions and have experience working on EU-funded projects.
