  • Bachelor/Honors, Minimum Bachelor Degree / Postgraduate in any subject of Social Science disciplines.

  • Candidates should have strong skills in community mobilization, capacity building, and inclusive project implementation.
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable and marginalized groups is essential.
  • The candidate should be adept at data collection and monitoring, with a demonstrated ability to address community concerns and grievances.
  • A deep understanding of gender equality, social inclusion, and gender-based violence is required.
  • The successful candidate must be able to collaborate effectively with local authorities to ensure smooth project implementation.
  • Candidates should be skilled in fostering partnerships with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is preferred.
  • Experience with Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), as well as established networks or collaborations with union or upazila-level administration and like-minded organizations, is highly preferred.
  • Candidates must hold a valid motorbike driving license and be willing to stay at the union/upazila level with frequent travel to remote areas.
  • The candidate should also possess a strong understanding of safeguarding policies, including child protection, gender, and anti-sexual harassment standards.
  • Only candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Possess at least 3 years of experience in human rights, climate change, and the selection and formation of Civil Society Organization (CSO) members at the village and union levels.
  • Mobilize and engage community members, with a focus on marginalized groups, including: Women, Youth, Indigenous peoples, People with disabilities
  • Facilitate regular community meetings with local CSOs, student forums, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify vulnerable groups and ensure their active participation in project activities.
  • Lead community awareness campaigns on: Climate change, Human rights, Gender equality, Environmental protection
  • Preference given to candidates born and raised in coastal regions.
  • Experience working on EU-funded projects is highly prioritized.
