Support the implementation of quality control systems for rice fortification at RFP, Bhasan Char, ensuring compliance with food safety and fortification standards.
Provide guidance and training to staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance procedures.
Conduct regular in-process and finished product inspections in accordance with SOPs.
Support sampling, testing, and documentation of rice quality attributes, including appearance, uniformity, and moisture content.
Ensure compliance with WFP specifications, standards, and project guidelines.
Assist with daily monitoring of milling, fortification, and packaging operations to maintain consistent product quality.
Oversee production processes to ensure proper blending of fortified kernels and uniform distribution in fortified rice.
Perform routine sampling and testing to verify micronutrient levels.
Identify quality deviations and ensure timely corrective actions are implemented.
Ensure adherence to national and international food safety standards, including HACCP and ISO requirements.
Work closely with machine operators, electrical engineers, plant management, retailer representatives, and WFP officials to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
Review, validate, and approve quality-related documentation such as inspection reports and certificates of analysis.
Support investigations into quality complaints and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
Establish and monitor quality benchmarks and KPIs to support continuous improvement.
Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance during inspections and certifications.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential quality risks and implement mitigation measures.
Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining SOPs in line with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet defined quality specifications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality control records, logs, checklists, and test results.
Support the preparation and submission of daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management and donors.
Assist during internal and external audits, inspections, and monitoring visits conducted by WFP, government authorities, and third parties.
Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, testing outcomes, and corrective actions.
Support the development and maintenance of digital systems for tracking quality performance and fortification consistency.
Prepare periodic quality assurance performance reports for management and WFP.
Assist in developing dashboards and data visualization tools to identify trends and performance gaps.
Align quality assurance data with overall project reporting in coordination with the M&E team.
Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and final project reports with a focus on quality outcomes.
Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of all quality and project-related data.
Support the preparation of documentation for donor reporting, audits, and evaluations.
Develop verification tools to ensure accuracy and reliability of quality data during production.

Strengthen the capacity of local Rohingya volunteers through hands-on training in quality inspection techniques.
Assist in organizing refresher trainings to keep staff updated on evolving best practices.
Ensure quality assurance principles are integrated into project monitoring activities in collaboration with the M&E team.
Coordinate with WFP and other stakeholders to align training content with international standards.
Maintain stock registers, inventory records, and other essential documentation accurately and on time.
Support procurement processes, including requisitions and follow-up activities.
Be willing and able to travel frequently, including extended assignments to remote project locations.
Participate in seasonal and special programs such as Ramadan, Qurbani, and Winterisation activities.
