Responsibilities & Context

  • Production & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure high-quality production and on-time delivery of goods.
  • Receive standard quality raw materials according to order specifications.
  • Implement production planning and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Oversee the sample preparation process and obtain necessary approvals from the authority.
  • Supervise product cutting by the Cutting Master, ensuring adherence to sample targets.
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the tailoring process.
  • Monitor the Turpai section, ensuring quality control post-task completion.
  • Ensure daily production is transferred to the finishing/tracing section as required.
  • Workforce Management & Attendance
  • Track worker attendance and implement strategies to reduce absenteeism.
  • Prepare and maintain wages muster rolls, wage registers, and worker passbooks.
  • Assist in recruiting artisans from the community, conducting door-to-door visits to meet recruitment targets.
  • Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure a safe and secure working environment for all employees and stakeholders.
  • Implement and enforce safeguarding policies to prevent harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA).
  • Act as a key support resource for safeguarding initiatives, ensuring policy implementation across all operations.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure and encourage employees to report any incidents.
  • Other Duties
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
