Responsibilities & Context

  • To ensure the successful implementation of the project within the planned AWP together with the Project Manager.
  • To provide and ensure accurate information on financial status and an appropriate flow of financial resources.
  • To ensure smooth and transparent functioning, detailed monitoring, and meticulous reporting of project finances of the assigned field areas (upazila and union).
  • To ensure full compliance with all accounting, finance, taxes, and other laws of Bangladesh  (particularly VAT and Tax regulations of Bangladesh), and the requirements set forth by LAMB, donor and/or partner agreements where applicable.
  • Responsible for procurement as set forth according to budget of the assigned field areas (upazila and union) as needed.
  • Responsible for the presence and applications of financial controls.
  • To provide support to the Finance Officer - SRMNCAH Project as needed and all other relevant financial online and off-line reporting such as monthly closing, quarterly closing, year-end closing, and external audit, spot check, e-face entry, including monitoring review by the development partner.
  • To effectively manage and support the project staff in a way that fosters professionalism, excellent performance, integrity, and team unity.

  • Around Tk. 48,100 per month gross. Other benefits include provident fund, festival allowance once per year, and critical illness and death benefit.
