Position Overview

LEEDO is seeking a dynamic, skilled, and results-oriented Fund Acquisition & Donor Relations Specialist to strengthen its fundraising, grant acquisition, donor engagement, and reporting functions. The role focuses on identifying funding opportunities, preparing high-quality proposals and reports, managing donor relationships, and supporting CSR and institutional partnerships to ensure sustainable organizational growth.

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, manage online donor applications, maintain a strong donor intelligence system, and ensure effective communication and follow-up with potential donors and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Grant Acquisition

• Identify and pursue funding opportunities from international donors, INGOs, foundations, embassies, and CSR initiatives.
• Develop and submit high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, and funding applications.
• Design fundraising strategies aligned with organizational priorities and donor requirements.
• Manage and submit applications through donor portals and online systems.
• Prepare project proposals, program documentation, and project reports effectively.

Donor Research & Intelligence

• Conduct continuous research on institutional donors, private foundations, and CSR programs.
• Maintain updated donor profiles, funding cycles, and eligibility criteria.
• Develop and manage a structured donor database and funding pipeline tracker.
• Map new funding opportunities aligned with LEEDO’s thematic areas such as education, child rights, and social development.

Data & Resource Management

• Collect and organize organizational data required for proposal development.
• Gather field-level evidence, success stories, and impact data for donor applications.
• Maintain a digital repository of proposals, donor guidelines, and funding templates.
• Ensure proper documentation of all funding submissions and donor communications.

CSR & Partnership Development

• Identify and engage corporate CSR opportunities at national and international levels.
• Develop partnership proposals for private sector collaboration.
• Build and maintain relationships with CSR focal persons and corporate donors.
• Explore innovative funding mechanisms including Public-Private Partnerships (PPP).

Online Application & Donor Portal Management

• Manage donor portals and online submission platforms.
• Ensure compliance with donor formats, guidelines, and digital requirements.
• Track application status and maintain follow-up communication with donors.
• Maintain electronic records of all submissions and funding opportunities.

Performance Expectations (KRA)

• Secure at least 1 confirmed funding opportunity every 3 months.
• Ensure active submission of multiple high-quality proposals within the first 90 days.
• Maintain a structured donor pipeline with clear follow-up tracking.
• Strengthen CSR and institutional donor engagement for long-term funding stability.
