Education

• Initiate and conduct community outreach, mobilization, and risk mitigation activities with support from the GBV team leader.
• Assist in identifying extremely vulnerable girls and young women for direct CARE support or referral to appropriate services
• Support the implementation of social norms transformation activities and GBV prevention approaches as required.
• Conduct community-level awareness-raising activities on GBV prevention and response.
• Manage and mentor community-based protection committees, ensuring quality work and effective community engagement
• Support day-to-day activities at women and girls' safe spaces, providing consultations, information sharing, psychosocial support, and recreational activities according to standards.
• Maintain and strengthen networks with other service providers at the camp level to ensure survivors receive quality support
• Strengthen referral systems and collaborate with new networks for holistic client support.
• Work closely with the Psychosocial Support and Case Management team to meet the ongoing needs of at-risk groups, women, and girls in prevention activities. activities.
• In collaboration with other partners, awareness raising interventions within the community focusing on the protection needs of all.
• Participate in staff trainings and promote peer learning with other agencies.
• Conduct sensitization, dialogues, and awareness sessions on GBV and ASHR for the wider population.
• Identify Facilitate the formation of women groups for survivors of GBV and vulnerable groups, providing coordinated support.
• Support the dissemination of project information and key messages during GBV prevention and response forums and meetings.

• Provide direct support and care for vulnerable women and girls, including survivors of GBV, following GBV case management SOP sure.
• Ensure Do No Harm analysis and ensure the principle is upheld in all Case Worker engagements.
• Assist in preparing daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, progress notes, and activity plans on time
• Use appropriate data collection tools and submit assessments and reports in a timely and accurate manner to the MEAL team
• Assist in the designing, planning, implementing and facilitating of external trainings for numerous target groups.
• Support in conducting assessment and analysis of camp and host community dynamics and in recommending how the project can position itself to better serve the interests of the community.
• Monitor work plan and its effectiveness and efficient implementation.
• Support document success/human interest stories in collaboration with the communication team.
• Conduct comprehensive report and documentation of lessons learnt and best practices to achieve project goals and activities
• Provide supervision to the GBV Assistants/volunteers and ensure effective provision of GBV prevention and WGSS services.
• Ensure monthly work plans are developed and reviewed regularly.
• Hold regular meetings with staff to plan and address any concerns and share feedback.
• Provide leadership and support for staff well-being, including managing stress through regular debriefing opportunities to address secondary trauma.
• Organize for internal peer to peer capacity building forums on GBV
• Attend GBV sub-sector, site management, and CiC office meetings regularly and maintain communication with the CiC office.
• Keep effective internal/external communication and close collaboration with office supervisor.
• Any other duties required by project authorities.
